Sultan Öztürk

TURKIYE

She is a graduate of Gazi University Faculty of Fine Arts and worked as a painting teacher at the Ministry of National Education for many years. Her artistic journey began with oil painting and later expanded into Traditional Turkish Painting Art (Miniature) and watercolor. Since 2019, she has been producing works that explore the relationship between light, water, and time, balancing expressive, fluid surfaces with carefully constructed details.

Her practice is shaped by an interest in transparency, movement, and transformation—allowing colors to merge, dissolve, and re-form. Through watercolor and miniature, she creates images that move away from chaos toward harmony, where spontaneous marks coexist with delicate, intentional detail.

An exclusive interview with Sultan Ozturk, revealing her life, painting process, and artistic philosophy. It provides a window into her inspirations, creative rhythms, and the stories behind her works.
